Did Herbie find his forever home? I have had no internet for yonks and missed any updates! :o
 
No I cannot, she is ma baby!! :p

And yeah, Herbie went to his forever home a few weeks ago. He is an only child and being thoroughly spoilt. Has his own pond which he apparently loves to go swimming in and pull up all the plants :D lol

Oh having said that though, I nearly had my vizz nicked last week out of the garden, will start new post actually, had forgotten all about it until I said that!
 
I like the Basenji ... she has an intelligent look about her.
Are they an intelligent breed? Can't say I've come across one in the flesh. I was quite chuffed that I identified the breed before you said it :o.

I think Maya is pretty intelligent, but the breed is not considered to be particularly intelligent. I think its a different kind of intelligence to a gundog for example. A basenji would know exactly what you wanted it to do when you asked it to retrieve a pheasant, but would think such tasks are below it :D They are very full of their own self-importance.

slinkyunicorn - Herbs is certainly keeping them busy!! They adore him though. His new mum is at home with him all day so he is being thoroughly pampered!!
