Right I have put myself in at the deep end and decided to enter a show with Whiskey (Welsh Section D) along with my friend who is taking her coloured cob. Theres inhand and ridden, so questions are:
How would the horses have to be presented for inhand and ridden?
What do we have to wear for both??
Can I get away with jodphurs in the inhand or do I have to be black trousers and if so what kind of trousers?
and also, my friend will be taking her cob gelding to the same show so could you answer the questions for both of us
Also, what tack for ridden?? At the moment he has got a brown gp saddle and a brown cavesson bridle with a padded noseband and a velvet browband.
He has got a black inhand bridle to
1 more question - do you have to have a special inhand bit or can you use what you normally use (a waterford snaffle)
We were thinking of doing these classes:
Class 2 Open In Hand - Horses & Ponies 4yrs old & over - Me and Whiskey & Lucy and Jim
Class 3 Mountain & Moorland In Hand - Me and Whiskey
Class 4 Coloured, Spotted & Palamino In Hand - Lucy and Jim
Class 12 Ridden Mountain & Moorland (LR can compete in this class also) - Me and Whiskey
Class 13 Ridden Coloured, Spotted & Palamino - Lucy and Jim
Class 16 Ridden Cob - Me and Whiskey & Lucy and Jim
