sorry if this in in the wrong thread.

what security do you all use for your horses kept at home?

is two horses twice as much work as one horse?

is there any jobs which involves handleing horses everyday that earn a decent wage. eg more then 20k a year. (qualifications not a prob).?

how often do people bath their white/coloured horses?

i know they are completely unconnected questions but answers to anything or everything welcome

none at all, when at home i lived in rural west wales,it would have looked funny having a chain and padlock around the gates.

it is when you are poo picking, i can see it being alot harder in the winter when stabled.

probably not

how often do people bath their white/colo]ured horses??

in the summer once or twice a month.

Post and rail around the field with electric fencing running around the outside, also used to section up field. Gates have 2 bolts and use a clip to close them as the highland is very very clever in escaping!! Tack shed is alarmed and padlocked. Feed room nothing, stable nothing.

Obviously more work than having one horse, but not twice as much work as you just double up jobs (feeds, haynets etc.)

Of course. Equine dentistry, physiotherapy, some sales jobs require you to demonstrate on horses on a daily basis...to name a few. I know people in these 3spheres who are earning a lot more than 20k. Of course it is all very varied though, but opportunities are definately out there.

Once a week in Summer when the weather is nice, or just before a competition. In the winter they are clipped and just use some stain remover product on specific bad areas rather than a full bath.
