I have just bought a young horse and my 20+ year old L&R dressage saddle has been reflocked to fit him (I had other saddles to try but none were even close). I had forgotten how much I liked the saddle, its pretty basic compared to more 'modern saddles' but when it doesn't fit anymore (he is 4 so will almost certainly out grow it) I am very tempted to go for another. If he doesn't outgrow it I think it may just fall apart eventually!
Don't know if helpful or not but I've got a very wide cob and picked up a L&R GP saddle for him, one of the (very!) old ones, which I picked up for under £100.
It's about the only thing that fitted him!
Haven't tried the Dressage version, sorry, probably not much help.
I had one, but found the seat on the dressage saddle a bit too deep for me. It certainly held me in place for sitting trot/canter, but rising trot could be a bit hit and miss as the pommel was really high. I wouldn't recommend it for general use, eg, hacking. I sold it in the end and got a made to measure Jaguar with a slightly less deep seat.
