Just had fourth lesson with new instructor. She is brilliant, so encouraging. My horse is going so well, on the contact, forward going improving straightness. So hopeful that we will be competing low level dressage by the end of the year. From a lame no-hoper who was out of work for eight months of 2012 not bad eh? Keep the faith people with poorly horses.

The right instructor can make so much difference. Mine is great too, she pushes me every lesson to do my best, even when I'm having an off day, she'll still get the most out of me. Such a great confidence giver, even when she just stands in the school without saying a word my confidence balloons!

They are brilliant, and as Loftly says the right one can make so much difference. I was beaming after my lesson yesterday, suddenly everything just kicked into place!

Yes, I'm enjoying my lessons too, would have one every day if I could! Slowly they are paying off with my baby girlie who can be a stroppy cow sometimes and my instructor is happy to hop on board to see what I'm experiencing with her. Off to BHS boot camp next week with her.....:)

She text me after to comment on what a great session we'd had. So proud of my little lad. He tries so hard to please. Extra carrot for him tonight :-)

Glad to hear it! :)

I love having lessons too, very satisfied as my instructor is amazing and makes sure we neever ever finish on anything but a good note (even if the boy is being a complete pain in the behind!). Boy was broken for a few weeks so I've not had one in about 5 weeks but booking one for next week, looking forward to it already!

Enjoy them and keep them up :)
