Love/Money or Both

Just wondering after a discussion with some friends, 1 of our mates is very unhappily married but wont leave because hubby is loaded and she loves the lifestyle they lead.

So who has both or does love or money win!!!

well if you are going to be miserable best be miserable in comfort!!! on a more serious note she would be entitled to some of the joint assets and income. she could go and talk to a good divorce lawyer for some impartial advice, before making her mind up! and on another note some people give up too easily she did think the world of him once, and could again. marriage has to be worked at to make it work, give and take and to keep it fresh!

isn't always just the money, someone I know are fairly well off and have a great lifestyle, ie joint friends, family etc, If they split up would lose all the enjoyment of joint friends and doing everything as a WHOLE family, not too mention if you then run 2 houses, lifestyles on the same money it isn't so good. They are comfortable with their lives and around each other but not head over heels in love anymore

I was in the same position as your friend, engaged but not married, met someone else, moved cities to give it a chance and he turned me down! However I learnt so much about myself it was worth it. And strangely, due to a lucky property purchase and landing a remunerative contract, I have ended up with more money.

Me too - in fact I did and can honestly say I couldn't be happier with my marriage!
