English teacher Mrs Blowfeld, 38, said: 'The pair had an instant attraction. They are inseparable - if one is in the stable, the other one calls out from the field. It's definitely love.'

Arhhhh.... so its LOVE when they do that!!

Cool! LOL

I think animals are capable of love for each other.

When the gelding who lives with my mare calls to her when she is in and he is out, it is more that he is checking to see where she has gone, not love! (as when she goes near him, he pulls faces!!)

I apologise in advance to any teachers here,

But................. i am baffled that some one is getting horses married and at the same time teaching our children, the next generation.

Maybee explains why my daughter is nuts

This all happened in a village not far from me. Do you think my horses will elope to this village to get married?

Goodness me.....

I brought Genie in today for a feed, feet picking etc, and one of her field mates (mare) was calling to her... think it's love and they should have a civil ceremony?

Horses really do form pair bonds. A friend lent me a CD - 7 yr study of horses in the Rockie Mountains. Find 'Cloud' the stallion of the Rockies on the internet. really interesting stuff about relationships.

My own CB stallion is still bereft after I separated him from his mare and foal. I don't want her covered this year but he is still fretting for her 6 months on - and he has another four mares for company.
