well i just got back from my second ever ride and i loved it!

we ended up being out riding for two hours not one and im really feeling it in my back and shoulders, my backside is just numb!

had a couple of little moments when callies back legs slid out from under him on drain covers whilst crossing a road but after a bit of dancing about he got himself sorted while i hung onto the saddle and hoped for the best!

even managed to do a bit of trotting but we kept to walking after i sat down when i should have been standing up!

and the best bit by far was that blaine my lurcher behaved perfectly around the horses from start to finish!

cheers

Glad you enjoyed yourself. So when's the next ride planned for?

I can imagine the joyful thread you're going to put on here when, by the time you've done not too many more rides, you get the hang of rising trot!

Sounds lovely, nothing like a nice long hack

Grids of any kind are best avoided in future, as might not sort his legs out in time one day, so do a slight detour around them- especially those big rectangle man hole covers.

Look forwards to hearing more updates
