This was my first visit and deffiantly won't be my last.

Beautiful scenery, although I now worse off to the tune of, £330 , but hey ho :D

The only tying that marred the day was a rumour that a horse died on the course, it was not confirmed while I was there, but if true my deepest condolonces go to the owners :(

Glad you enjoyed the day, sadly they had two fatalities today, one had a fall the other collapsed after finishing the xc, very sad for all the connections:(

That is very sad news, won't ask which ones the were :(

Yes she did come with me , and did not moan once, although she was itching to get to the water jump, so after shopping therapy and lunch, we got sat right next to the lobster at the water jump, and spent the rest of the day there.

She is currently having a tantrum outside, because I won't make her a water jump :o. :D

How horrible, I was there all dya and didn't hear any of that :(

Other than that was a great day, my borrowed dog was well behaved, saw someone jump every jump as I walked the course and only got rained on once.

Back again tomorrow, parking myself in comfy camping chair and have made monster picnic with mini quiches, olive and cheese scones, sarnies, rocky bars, diet coke, thermos of tea (to be made in the morning), scary thing is it is all for me, mwah ha ha!

Oh that's horrible :( I know there was a long hold on the course in the afternoon and they were not saying much about it so I assume that was the fatality on course? Anyone know what happened?

Not a lot you can do about a horse collapsing at the end mind. The weather was pretty perfect there today for cross country and the ground on the course was great.

Such a shame when it's marred by fatalities but, with the numbers competing there this weekend I guess there is always the likelihood something like that will happen.

Condolences to the owners, riders and connections :(

We went yesterday for the dressage and had a great day, so sorry to hear about the fatalaties today :( The weather was quite kind yesterday, tippled down here today.

Very sad to hear about two apparent deaths at Bramham. Awful for the owners - and the horses. But it is a risk going out eventing/jumping/racing/hacking. Just wish the two deaths at the Grand National could have been treated with the same perspective.

Apparently both deaths were the result of heart problems. The one half way round the course apparently had a heart attack as it jumped the first part of the fence, it was nothing to do with the fence itself. I got there just as they were putting the screens round as that was the next jump on our course walk. Felt so sorry for the poor girl who had been riding. At least both horses died happy doing something they loved.
