I am on the lookout again for an ID x, Has anyone bought from this dealer with success?
He has some lovely Irish types very cheap, just off the boat I suspect. I am sure some are good un`s as he seems to have quite a turnover of stock.
I am looking for a nice RC alrounder but the price has got to be low, and I love the ID and ID crosses:)

as with all dealers (ETA or sellers for that matter) be careful, but if you go with your eyes open and have it vetted and thoroughly try it...... you might just be getting a bargain

i like the look of the 17hh chestnut by saracen hill

Depends if i can get OH to run me down. Really not supposed to be looking until Spring!
But he has a lovely kind look about him and nice shoulder, good conformation.
Yeah, have heard of this dealer , but someone must be buying his horses - other dealers to sell on at double the price maybe?
Anyone bought a good one from here?

A woman that used to hunt with us bought one from him very cheap and was warned off but went anyway. Turned out to be the best thing she ever did! She got a fantastic horse and loves him to bits! Just be careful and take someone with you!

If you have a liking for greys and for draught types there is a lovely CBxArab on CBHS website. He is called Killwillie and is by a very nice CB stallion.

Exactly careful doesnt even cover it, I appreciate there may be the odd success story from there but honestly its not worth the risk, PM me if youd rather but I have a girl who comes into the shop where I work who bought from him (even after she'd been warned and warned and warned off probs about half a dozen different people), she is now sporting a fractured neck!!!!!

PLEASE PLEASE KEEP AWAY!!!!

Irish horses my arse! They look like either pure off the track TB's (which is why they would be so cheap) or could possibly be irish TB's, either way they aren't reg. ISH types.

I do like the look of him! from the pic, i think he looks older than 7. I think if your interested you should go and try him, then as long as you get him vetted i think you should be alright. If it were me i would still go and look despite the warnings.

Love the look of the coloured mare for sale too, she looks like a fun pony!

Actually, I do agree to some extent, some are very fine and TB ish possibly irish TBs as you say off the track.
But one or two are a bit chunkier. I also think the grey is likely to be older than advertised as he is very light coloured.

Dont want an ex- racehorse thats for sure they're not my type - thanks
