Lovely hack yesterday - Met a deer!

Managed to get out in the sunshine, unfortunatley alone as usual, but she is getting really good at going out on her own. Down one of the back lanes/track she stood and froze watching a deer galloping through the field until it disappeared into the woods, carried on round the corner and next thing the deer popped out the hedge just in front of us and popped the wire fence into the next field! First time I have ever seen one so close, May really was'nt sure what to make of it

haha I met a deer once..didnt go quite so smoothly at yours though..my girl ran off up the road away from it!

I was riding out on my old 14hh pony when a herd, a HERD of deer came over to say hello.

Needless to say my horse got quite scared so we ended up going for a very out of control canter to get away from them!

We have 10, yes TEN, on the farm atm - they are a blooming nuisance as they think nothing of jumping out in front of you

We have ordered they be shot ASAP as someone is going to have an accident soon - happens every year tho! They are beautiful tho!

Si was hacking down Osbaldeston Lane past Ross's today and two jumped into the lane in front of him. He was well excited! Ponio must have thought they were mini horses and didn't bother. Then they popped a 4' fence from a standstill

i went out hacking today and 3 baby deers came past i was like nawww, ellie doesnt mind them either

On our hack today we had to go past a field of llamas!
I think it was only cos Jerry knew he had to get past them to get home that he actually dared go past the field.
Don't know how he'd react to a deer thoug!
