Lovely horse looking for a long term SHARER/PART LOANER, due to family commitments….
Unlimited riding!
Roadie (Road West)
16.2, 15 year old, bay, thoroughbred gelding.
Retrained racehorse.
Traditional/chunkier thoroughbred!
Kind, safe and genuine horse but no novices or under 18s please.
Must stay on current yard, between Tong and Bishops Wood (ST19 9A).
May consider a full loan and a move to a new yard, for the right person & after we’ve all got to know each other!
Unlimited riding (just hacking or schooling/training and competing if you’d like to), in return for a contribution towards his keep and some help with stable duties at the weekend.
Easy-going, loving horse, who puts 100% into everything he does. Good to ride, no bucking or rearing etc. and he’s very trainable.
(Has been competed successfully by friends, who’d not ridden until the day of the show!)
Since retiring from point-to-pointing, at 8 years old, Roadie has done….
He does spook at times and can sometimes be a little strong but he is safe. Snaffle-mouthed.
He’s good to load and travel and is well behaved at shows.
He’s only been hacking for the last few years though, due to covid and family commitments.
Roadie lives on a lovely, small, friendly yard, with a great outdoor school with lights and good hacking (and really nice people to hack out with!).
