After the police being called to the yard when they blocked me out of the yard with a car and trailer refusing to reverse and then padlocking me into the yard with my jeep, trailer and horses when I had told them I was just going to move yards, I have now got a gorgeous new yard!!! So glad to be free of the crazy people and the yard owner is so apologetic and had to ring them demanding I was let out, freightening the kind of people there are about.
Its a really posh purpose built racing yard thats turning to livery, more expensive but much better facilties and really decent owners who couldn't do enough for you - they seem reluctant to let go of the racing side (clients weren't paying so they have had no choice but to go for livery to get cash flow back) but they are really helpful and nice. I even got stuck on the last run with 2 horses in trailer on the hill to yard as a car was parked on verge, there was a church kids party on and 3 of the locals came and got me all sorted. I was terrified as the handbrake wasn't fully holding car so they unloaded horses and boosted me with a push to get me back onto the concrete lane and off the muck - really nice people. Horses fairly settled and I'm just going to go up and ride now
