I have a pair of tesco jodhs that are very comfy because they don't come up to/past my belly button but I don't know any other make that do low cut johds like this.
Can anyone reccomend some?

Yep, shires saddlehuggers for me too. Hate the ones that touch my bellybutton cos it's pierced and sometimes gets pulled :( Makes me feel sick!

Mines pierced too and my high cut johds rub on it (hasn't been pulled thank god, that sounds icky!) and it gets sore by the end of the day :(

cheers guys :D

I might be being extra picky but I found the saddlehugger ones too low rise for me...(maybe I'm an odd shape?) I got some "Horze" ones though, I think Derby House sell them and they're really nice. Low rise enough to be comfortable but not so low rise that I flash my underwear everytime I bend over to pick out a hoof :o

Dublin supafits are lowish cut - they're not hipsters but I've no midriff at all and they still only just come up to my bellybutton.

Jeffries competition breeches are pretty low and don't reach my belly button piercing. I also have some premier Equine breeches and they too are low enough at the front not to rub.

I'm ressurecting this thread because I tried the saddle huggers and they are too long in the waist for me (maybe I'm just misshapen ;)) and I tried the wessex ones too but the same problem.

I haven't seen any supafits to try on and the jeffries ones are too expensive around here :(

The last pair of super comfy jodhs I had were tesco's own but they've stopped doing them :(

Any other recommendations for me please? They need to be really low rise as I've apparently got a small lower half ha ha! :)

I've got some 'Rugged' ones which are kind of mid-rise - halfway in between my super high belly button ones and some ancient Dublin Hipsters that I cling onto but never wear as they're too low. Maybe worth a try? They have really useful pockets too!

I have some lovely Mark Todd breeches with a full seat that are really low rise. They are grey checkered if that helps!

puppystitch, what brand are they?

Mark todd might be out of my budget but I'll have a look, do you know what the name is?

Thanks :)

I only ever buy hipster ones - the high waisted ones make we feel fat and lumpy :( (I'm only a 10/12 but look mostly awful)

I love the Loveson Hispter's - they are pull on ones, they're like PJ's :D

These might be worth a look. You'll have to make sure you covert the sizes properly, but the price isn't too bad when converted and shipping shouldn't be too much.

There are these

I don't think you'll get them too cheaply, but look at it as an investment. A good pair of jods lasts years and years :)

Thanks everyone :D Get paid tomorrow (fingers crossed! New job) so hoping to go into the nearest city for some shopping and if all else fails I'll try a bit of online shopping again - I'd like to try them on first you see because I'm a fussy git ;)
