low sugar chaff

what do you feed when you're looking for a low sugar chaff? My mare ties up and currently has hi fi lite but I wondered if there was anything else that was similar on the market?

I use hi-fi lite but have used the good doer before which is minty and smells lovely

I have one that is unmolassed, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. Is much cheaper than the Hi-Fi stuff. I will look this evening and let you know.

I've been using Spillers Happy Dieter. Its on offer as BOGOF atm. Its very chaffy with vits and minerals in it and yellow flowers which I have yet to identify. My girl adores it.

Alfa A Oil has no sugar and the added benefit of being high in oil which is good for horses prone to tying up

Graze on Gold is the only one my fussy Icelandic will eat. He refuses Hi Fi lite, happy hoof, good doer etc. He has Cushings and is prone to laminitis so Graze on Gold is perfect for him. It is supplied by the people who make megazorb bedding.

I use happy hoof and hi fi lite, happy hoof seem's to tempt the fussy ones a bit more.
