Low Sugar Treats

Hi all,

Looking for some low sugar treat ideas!

My boy is currently on box rest and has recently had steroid injections. I am conscious of the risk of Laminitis however he does get very bored on box rest so looking for ways to keep him occupied. He absolutely loves his treatball (I think it is his favourite thing in the world!). He currently gets a handful or two of pony nuts but just wanted to see if anyone has found any other treats to try.

Pure Feeds treats are low sugar and starch. Or Meadow Magic grass nuts for in the treat ball.

Plaintain is a favourite with mine. It's also good as an ulcer preventative, particularly the broad leaved sort (alongside sensible management obviously)
