What is the lowest calorie mash type feed?
Pref one that’s quick soak. My little Welsh. A will hoover up a mash which is very useful as he needs a cushings pill! He hates any chaff

I feed fast fiber. It’s 8 mj I think. It soaks in 1 min. Sounds strange but I use it to bulk up soothe and gain (ulcer prone horse) in the winter but also feed it alone when he is being tubby. He can’t tolerate chaff. I don’t think it’s the tastiest but when I add his balancer he will eat it.

agrobs weisencobs (7.5), Fast fibre (8) is lower than pink mash (9) and quite a bit lower than pure beet products (11ish)
