My tb is currently in a single joint snaffle, which strength wise is fine as he's a bit of a donkey but I think the 'nutcracker' action is the reason for him constantly trying to open his mouth (having teeth done made no difference).
I've been advised to try a lozenge bit, thing is there's several and I'm not sure which to try.
I've come across- half moon, peanut, sweet iron, copper mix and titanium.
Anyone able to shed some light on them and give me a better idea of what would suit my horse? He's very easy to control, not a typical tb at all, I just want him to be more comfortable
