I've just booked in for a freezemark and they had the above available.

LP are my initials and 1Z is for her name (Izzy)

Unfortunately they didn't have 1ZZY

-My friend had her horse stolen so that's why I'm having it done so it's visable, and I love Izzy so much, I'd be completely devastated if she was pinched not knowing how she was being treated etc. I hate to even think about it.

Then neck and keep her main short, or back and she'll have to be naked all year round. I have an Arab so neither would be practical

She is naked most of the year and only has a rug on through the thick of it

Don't you agree though that a freezemark is more of a deterant to thieves, unless you have a sign up on the gate saying 'this horse is microchipped'?

The thing is, freezemarks do not just act as a deterrent- they are a great way of tracing/identifying a horse, and reuniting it with their owner in the event that it does get stolen.

Very worthwhile having it done I think and I like your personalised one!

Saddle area if you can wait to ride for awhile till it heals. I would def consider a freeze mark over microchip. My 4 yrs x racer has a microchip but its migrated through his body some where, dont know where but its there somewhere

. I got the vet to check but it just couldnt be found and it definitely is the right horse according to markings etc. Vet said the chips can move.

As she is chestnut not the saddle area. I think that chesnuts have thin skin and it can cause problems - ask the company what they recommend.
