Just wondering does anyone know what sort of realistic price they go for?
I asked saddler what I should look for and he said a figure twice what I thought! It's in good condition though and is a Berney and comes with leathers, irons, girth, numnahs. Just thought he put quite a high figure on it considering it's so small! I could buy a new 17inch dressage saddle if I got that for a secondhand 14inch show saddle!!!

Because they are not easy to find they do command extroadinarily high prices.

They are a nightmare to find! admitedly I haven't looked for a couple of years but, when I tried to get one for a section A it was not funny.

I ended up paying £900 at the time, it was made to measure by a firm in walsall (can't remember who they were)
If you can get one that fits I think that's a pretty good acheivement!!!
The lady that put us onto the manufacturer was a saddler based at Foxes Riding school in Chester, if thats any help to you.

It wasn't quite that high as it's secondhand. It was originally used for an 11.1h Welsh section B but have used it on other ponies and it fitted ok.

Sorry!!! I was thinking along the lines of a dressge saddle and thought you'd been quoted over a grand.

If it fits and is a reachable figure, I'd buy it, because they tend to hold their value.

Once again didn't mean to frighten you!

That would be a Welsh Section A surely?
