I also did the two day LG clinic this week. It was brilliant and I enjoyed every minute of it. KatB has explained the format and although I was in the 'baby' group we did the same exercises. Today was the first time I have been XC schooling since I was airlifted off the Chasers course last August so it was quite a big deal. I never thought I would jump a trakehner from a walk that's for sure - and neither did my horse

, but Lucinda makes it sound so simple you have to give it a go. How I stayed on I have no idea but was so chuffed with my mare for having a go. We went on to jump a coffin, water filled ditch, log one stride into water, house (never got over one of those first time before) and by the end we were popping off a step into water and out over a skinny. Really excellent couple of days and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone if you get the chance. Not saying it was cheap but both sessions went on for over 3 hours and you never felt that Lucinda was watching the clock or rushing things. The weather thwarted us on Tuesday for getting out on the course, but Lucinda changed her plans and drove all the way back up to do today with us. She is teaching all day tomorrow in Berkshire too - noone can say she doesn't work hard!

What a fantastic couple of days for you and the WFM

Saw from another post that your WFM is not quite right

Fingers crossed it is just a sore muscle and she bounces back very soon. Typical to happen just as the season starts isn't it?
