Does anyone have experience of clinics / sessions with her? I have been offered a place in a clinic with her in a couple of weeks and interested to hear any opinions / experiences.

Thanks much in advance

I've no experience of training with her but I know her as she's a customer of mine - She's got a very good reputation and if I were near to her I'd jump at the chance - Her record speaks for it's self!

Everything I have read so far seems to echo what you have said.

A few years ago I used to jump at every training clinic there was available - I had lessons with all sorts of dressage riders and jump riders - but invariably I would end up coming out of the end of the lesson feeling like the instructor thought they had just spent a wasted 45 minutes or hour or whatever. I got so fed up with feeling so disheartened with feeling so down by the end of lessons I stopped going. I then had similar happen with regular lessons as well - so stopped having regular lessons.

I think I'm just being a scaredy cat!

Lucinda is my neighbour!! I come from the hunting / point-to-pointing world - that does not always fit that well with the natural horsemanship stuff that Lucinda does. But I have to say that Lucinda impresses me for her 'non evangilical@ stuff that she preaches. Her mantra is 'what works best for you..OK a little case study - I ride my racing boys past her Andulasian Stallion El Cid, most mornings. My boys are in awe of him, and want to get past his filed at about 300MPH - why? Is it because we might hear stuff from him, that we don't want to hear??!!

Thanks for all your replies guys!

I *think* I have decided to go for it. Me and my girl have definitely got loads of stuff we could work on - this will be a complete and utter first for me and my girl - I've never taken her anywhere to do anything like this - but from the sounds of it, it should be a good thing for the both of us! I'm still worried about it - but over the last few months I have done a lot of things for the first time with my girl, and every time I was cacking myself on each occasion - so this will be one more!!!

Cloverleaf - it's on the 28th - should be being held at bolingey meadows?? Is it the same one?

Thanks for the encouragement - just what I needed - and I will let you all know how it goes! xxx

Sorry just seen this post.

I have alot of dealing with Lucinda & she is lovely & she recommends lots of people to me.
I really want to go down to her's (L want's us to come down as well!) & was hoping to have a stand at the holistic horse event & unex where she is doing & demo but sadly I can not make it. She really wants us to go as well.
All I can say is you jammy ***!!
Relax I am sure you will enjoy it & learn alot.
