i liked how the fire officers went on about ponds not being a playground! Its a pony.. you tell it its not fun...

And do children really wear STOCKINGS?

Well yes.. obviously.. but it obviously wasnt fenced off.. that being the case, how do you tell them not to play on a frozen pond..

I think the firemen were referring to children playing on frozen ponds as a general reminder and as an account of why they did not allow would be rescuers on the ice, they were not suggesting a national warning in newspapers for ponies to be told to stay off the ice...
