Lucy update. Following Yesterdays post.

Well I rode her out this eve. I waited till 7 as it was cooling down a bit. I took her up to the village and back. The vet said to only walk and see if she coffed but as she only coffed in trot yesterday i had a little trot.
No coffing and No blood pouring out her nose. Yay.
Thanks everyone for reassuring me it was nothing last night it looks like you where right. If it had been anyother pony i would have just waited to see what happened today but as it was Lucy i went into full panic mode.
If she is fine tom we can still do the sponsourd ride on sat :D :D :D
Anyway thanks again guys. Your all great. :cool:
 
Thanks guys. I just worry so much about her. Everytime she so much as sneezes i'm on the phone to the vets. They must love me. I now get put streight through to my vet when i call. "I just say it's Laura Lucy's owner" and the secratery says "ok hold on one moment" then hay presto my vet is on the phone. LOL.
 
Thankyou lucy_Nottingham. She was wondering what all the fuss was about yestrday bless her I think she worrys when i worry. Oh well no harm done except to my jumper Lucy wiped her nose on yesterday and covered it in blood. :p
 
Thanks jensheff26 and ginger_nut. I hardly slept last night and I think i anoyed her today. I kept looking to see if she had a nosebleed. You can swing off Lucys ears but she hates having her nose touched. She's always been like it. I think it stems from when she was beatern i think they uaed to smack her on the nose :( :( :( It's something she has never fully got over even with me :(

There was a horse at my old yard who had been beaten by this man the owner asked to ride him. He only did it once and he has never been the same since (its been 4 years now) He was the nicest horse so sweet and gentle the smallest child could turn out bring in groom ect and now he is aggresive and bites/kicks anyone who trys to get near him, even his owner sometimes. Its so sad =(
 
Poor horse :( :( :( :( It's a shame how they always remember the bad. Lucy had a couple of years of tourture so i'm not suprised she's still abit funny. But it's sad all that horse had was one stupid person once and it has changed him forever:mad:. I feel for his owner they must feel awful although i'm shore they never expected it to happen.
 
No nobody ever expected it, luckly the guy who did was kicked off the yard and everyone around here knows to avoid him so atleast there is less of a chance of it happening to someone elses horse. Just makes me so upset because he wasnt even a naughty horse that you could loose your temper with or something hes one of the nicest horses i have ever met it was just done out of pure spite.
 
God what a horrid man. Maybe he should come down here and ride Horrid Herbie. Noone has smacked him while on top but someone gave him a small tap while we where trying to load him and Herbie tryed to kill them. I wish horse beaters would ride horses like him they wouldn't last five mins. (not that i'm wishing someone would come and beat Horrid ;) :p :D :D)

Yeah i kinda wish that zulu had just turned on him but being so honest and kind he didnt =( and now the memory is with him forever, its just not worth it. Dont undertstand why people do it.

I know. I'm actualy suprised at how well Lucy turned out after all she went throw. Now she is horrified if she thinks she's hurt you. Sometimes if i want her to move over when i'm grooming her or something and she won't do it i put my foot next to hers and shout "ouch Lucy get off" and she moves over :p :) She's getting abit wise to that one now though :D :D
I'm glad Zulu is safe now with people who care and hopefully he will lurn to trust again one day :o

Thanks i think so to. It took along time to get there but it was soooooooooo worth it in the end :D :D :D :D :D Now i've just got to keep her going forever :p :D But if she keeps scaring me like she did yest i think i may have heart failer soon :rolleyes: :D :D
