Well i had a small panic attack this morning. I came out the front door and Lucy didn't greet me like she normaly does
. So i snuck over to see what she was doing and she was eating hay
So i forgave her for not giving me my morning greeting. She had also drunk 1/4 of her bucket of water and eatern all the feed i gave her last night
She had done another poo and there was only a small patch of blood in the bed. She also looked a little brighter than yeasterday and was soon demanding more food. I saw her have a wee and there was hardly any blood in it.
I got her some breakfast and she ate a little then went back to her hay. I hand grazed her for 30mins than put her out in her patch. I rang the vets who are pleased with her improvment but told me to keep an eye on her incase it is just the start of something. As she has improved they no longer think her kidneys are failing
. She was happyer out in her patch today and she was wondering round picking at the weeds. Yesterday she just stood there looking sad.
When i got back from work i hand grazed her again for 30 mins then put her in her stable with another small feed. She ate a little of it but then went to her hay. I saw her have another wee and this time there was a bit more blood but still not as much as yest.
She's not 100% but is nowhere near as bad as she was.
Thankyou all for the kind message and support yesterday. As always it was much appreciated. We are not out of the woods yet but i hope we are travelling in the right direction.
Lucy as ever is staying strong and positive for the both of us while her mummy is a jibbering wreck
Thanks for reading.
