Lump around, under and behind nipple

I have just found a small hard lump (about the size of a very small pea) next to my dogs nipple. The swelling also seems to go around and behind the nipple. The nipple itself is not swollen or hard. I am taking her to the vets in the morning to get it checked out but have been trying to find out what it could be using Google. Needless to say, I am now worried it might be mammory cancer.

She is an 11 year old JRT. She is fit and health in every other way. She has not been spayed. She had a slightly upset stomach and was off her food a few days ago but nothing major and is now completely better.

She was in season about 4 weeks ago and normally she get some milk soon afterwards. However, this time she hasn't had any so I don't know if this is related.

Any ideas or experience as to what this could be please?

She is at much higher risk of mammary cancer not being spayed, it could be that or a fatty lump, I would get her checked. She could also be brewing a pyo given her age and recent season.
A vet check will give you your answers.
