Lump in groin

Anyone horse had a lump like this and did you treat it and if so how?

I had the vet out this time last year and the tests were inconclusive and they said to leave it be.

However the Osteopath I recently had treat him thought it needs further investigation.
It certainly looks like it would be uncomfortable to him and might just account for his lazy attitude. Although he is a very laid back horse anyhow.

My Warmblood had a similar lump. It turned out to be a sarcoid (it didn't scab, weep, or bleed). It was just a roundish ball - like lump. I had it removed at the clinic. Horse ripped his stitches open less than a week later, but it was winter, so no flies, and everything healed fine. His was beginning to increase in size so that's why I opted to remove it.
