Lump just below coronet band

Big ginger lad has developed a hard lump just below his coronet band on his right fore. Pressing it doesn't seem to bother him at all. It's about 1.5 cm across. Farrier coming tomorrow but wondering what the hell it is ....Any ideas ?

Wait for the farrier- it could be anything from a bruised coronet growing out

to a tumour called Keratoma

FWIW from personal experience, i would avoid googling it as you can scare yourself to death with horror stories

My boy's lump was from when he hit a fence out hunting and scraped his coronet band and it grew out as a bump.
