As you can see in this photo, there is a small grape sized lump under my boys chin (ignore his juvenile warts - vet told me to leave them alone and they will go). It doesn't feel like it's attached to anything and is slightly squishy to the touch.

I only noticed it today so thought I'd get a photo and see if someone can shed some light on it? If its something to worry about obviously il get the vet down, but if not I don't want to do any unnecessary worrying.

all my horses have had this under their chins to some degree or another. Assume therefore it is nothing to worry about.

It could be. Let me just clarify that little black bit which looks like its attached to it, isn't. It's a small wart the other side and this lump has no puncture wounds or signs of blood or anything.

yes the warts will disappear, they just look unsightly, the lump could just be an reaction to an insect bite, I'd keep an eye on it for a couple of days, if it gets any bigger or harder then get the vet in.
