Hi - my horse has developed a small lump on the top of his head just between his ears. We think the circumstances surrounding this were that he overreached (probably galloping down our field!) - i did find a small graze on his heel - pulled his shoulder and maybe somehow jolted his neck. My vet says he has probably chipped a small piece of bone as he jolted his neck. This lump doesn't bother my horse at all and my vet says that although it can be surgically removed it is not necessary. Has anyone had a similar incident and what course treatment if any did you follow?
Thanks
