Lump on horse..sarcoid??

I noticed tonight while grooming my boy that he has a lump/bump come up on his belly, well sort of left of his sheath..have never noticed it before.. It's feels like a soft lump, about the size of a 5 pence piece, it's not bald or anything just feels raised under his skin.. This is going to sound really gross but it's sort of the texture or a bobbly mole or a dogs teat (I have a female dog who likes to have her belly rubbed lol.) sorry that's the only way I could think to describe it!! Any idea what this could be peeps? Thanks in advance..

I wouldn't necessarily rush to a diagnosis of sarcoid. Could be a completely harmless blockage of a sweat gland. It's not in a place that will get rubbed raw by tack so I'd keep a careful eye on it, keep the area clean without scrubbing with brillo pads if you know what I mean. Watching brief - any changes, review and possibly get the vets to have a look if they're out for something else.
