lump on leg/chest creaserse of action

Please can anyone identify a lump that has been found in the leg/chest (armpit) of my wife's pony and if so could you please advise a course of action to remove it,

You can upload photos from your computer to an album in your forum profile, or upload from your computer to photobucket (or similar) and then copy the IMG code and paste it in the forum reply box. :)

That looks like a sarcoid to me, your best course of action would be to get the vet involved rather than mess about trying to treat it yourself as it is raw and will be attracting flies which may make it grow bigger rather rapidly and possibly spread to other areas.

Agree. Looks like a sarcoid and it's quite a common area to find sarcoids. This isn't something you should treat yourself at home, you need to get a vet to have a look and have a definate diagnosis before you can decide on treatment options.
