i noticed a lump a few days ago on the side my 10 yr old tbs sheath , its round , firm to touch and doesnt seem to be attatched to muscle , it doesnt look like a fly bite or a sarcoid , i,ve spoken to my vet who has advised monitoring it for now , just wondered if anyone had experienced this type of thing

my boy has one, hes is a sarcoid..

My Shetland got a lump on the outer edge of his sheath. He's darker skinned, and it started as a small pink spot.
I had it checked, and like you it was monitored. However it grew over a few months, and was removed when it reached the size if a large pea, and had started to granulate on the tip under local anaesthetic.
It was sent for pathology, and confirmed as a sarcoid (he was 25yrs old, and his first one)
We now have to keep an eye on the area. By the way, he's a dark bay/black.
