I have a mare that I got just over a year ago. She is completely black with no qhite markings, 3/4 quarter horse and 1/4 arabian. Shortly after I got her I noticed a small lump about a centimeter below and to the left of the outer corner of her eye. It was about half a centimeter in diameter. It slowly went away however and over summer it looked like it was completely gone. Just recently is has come back and it is about the same size in diameter except much more swollen. It also looks rather dry and scabby on top. I'm definitely getting a vet to check it out, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences and what type of treatment worked. I'm quite worried that it may be cancerous.
