Our female, 5yr old choc lab has got a lump under her tail. It is smooth, a bit larger than a pea, perhaps half the size of a sprout. Doesn't seem to bother her, you can touch/gently squeeze it. It looks like a haemorrhoid or something. Not overly red, just skin toned really.

Anyone any ideas/experience?

My lab has got one. It sometimes dissapears on odd occasion bleeds. I would go to the vet and get is checked. At my old boys age I went for the first line of attack which was a anti-testosterone injections rather than getting it aspirated (he has other lumps etc so if it was cancer I would just keep him comfortable). It dissapeared after a couple of weeks and then made an appearance again beginning of the month, it seems to be shrinking again now, its barely there.

Been to the vets today. They think it is a cist, and have taken a sample to send to the lab, results in a few days. Hoping its nothing..:( Not having a good day!!
