my collies has a lump on her left side around her hip area. i thought is was because we went for a run up and down the downs but it was weeks ago and it doesnt seem to be going down.
and as shes on a diet she seems to have lost some weight around that area which makes it stand out even more.

it doesnt seem to bother her shes quite happy to play and go for walks, she did have a limp after our run that day but recoved quite quickly...

i dont know if im just being silly as shes usually long haired and as shes had her 1st hair cut this year its the 1st time iv actually seen her real shape!

what do u think?

Take her to the vet. It could be nothing or it could be something more serious. My dog had three lumps removed. The large one I was worried about turned out to be a fatty cyst, but the smallest lump was a fibrosarcoma, which need aggressive surgery asap. He is absolutely fine and 6 months on there is no recurrence so we're in the clear. I don't mean to scare you by telling you this - just wanted to show that swift treatment can make all the difference.
