Has anyone else seen anything like this before? Can’t find any info/pictures anywhere. These ‘lumps’ appeared pretty much overnight on horses hind heel bulbs. Both feet affected. Soft and squishy for a better word not painful. Vet advised they think just top layer of skin has “eroded” away pos due to bacteria/wet ground so have dispensed some blue spray (Terramycin). 2 weeks on and no difference to be honest- will be speaking to vets again Monday. Horse lives out 24/7 with no option of stables. Anyone have any advice? Thanks

Wet ground! This went away but horse was stabled overnight to dry out. I just sprayed with stuff (can't remember what, generic hoof spray/purple spray type stuff) and it sorted eventually. It had just been raining constantly and the ground was wet as you like for weeks and weeks.
