Lumps on the bone..

Has anyone had a dog with a lump on its back[or anywhere else] that has been attached to the bone ? What did it turn out to be ? one of my dogs has a lump attached to a bone on his back and the vet ttook blood and sent it away to be checked over to see what it is. Could possibly be a tumour or an abcess

Don't panic in advance as it could be lots of things but my Charlie had a lump on his ankle and xrays showed osteomylitis or bone cancer. I never did find out which as he was in so much pain I had to have him pts before they could do a biopsy.
