Hi has anyone experienced hard lumps on your horses body. Too hard to be hives and don't move when pressed. Not itchy or sore at all. Have tried steroid creams. No change.

I think you are referring to protein lumps?

Tried that said they would go, away but haven't. Need ideas how to get rid.

What does the vet say about how you could do that? It sounds to me like a situation where you should leave well alone unless they are causing issues.

You need to push for a biopsy if they aren’t going away. How long has the horse had them?

Bought him in June had them then was told they were fly bites and would go away. My vet said they would also but they haven't. Not sausing him any problems but look unsightly. Biopsy may be wayforward.
