Hi folks!
Just a quick update on Luna, our new Cleveland Bay x filly. We've had her 3 weeks now and her weight has doubled. She's been worm counted, then wormed appropriately and worm counted again. All clear!!!
She now comes up to me in the field, knows what an apple is and can nearly eat it in one go (Kinzzy has been showing her the ropes!). I can groom her all over, pick her feet up albeit not for long. She's being introduced to a rug slowly and for the last two days has spent 20 mins or so in her stable with Kinzzy for company.
But today she was extra specially amazing.......... She stood and tolerated the dentist with a gag on, and rasps and power tools and everything. I was amazed with her! Of course Kinzzy was awesome too - she always is!
What a difference 3 weeks of basically being her friend has meant to her...and me!
