Lunge Cavessons?

When lungeing in a lunge cavesson, do you attach the lunge line to the middle ring or the ring nearest to you? I've seen it done both ways, but not sure which is correct?

I've not lunged in one for years but we always used to put it onto the middle one then, you didn't have to change when you changed reins ?

I do for the middle one but the only disadvangage is if the horse pulls the cavason can "twist" and maybe catch them in the eye. I know people wil say its not fitted propperly but no matter how well you fit it some horses it just happens. I found then the side is a bit more stable

I use the middle ring - the side rings for side reins.

Middle & the side ones for side reins. Unless I was using two lunge ropes then I'd use the side rings, one for each rope.
