We have a great 60x20 all weather manege which is fab, super drainage and great surface However, due to 3 reasons (I lunge a lot, break in a lot of horses, and want cover in this rain!) I want to build a lunge pen with a cover. The plan is for it to be either a 20x20 square or 20m diametre circle. Would like to either use the metal mesh with rubber at the base that you see for the boundary or simple wooden fencing. The main concern is to be as cost effective as possible!
ANY recommendations/advice/tips would be greatly appreciated - both with materials to use, good lunging surfaces, appropriate building or any roofing ideas?!
Many thanks

They look really nice I agree but are quite costly and only includes the frame - you have to do the groundwork and surface etc yourself. Think it would save money doing it myself. I'm having probs finding info about covers/roofs, I like the idea of a very large gazebo! Monarch only have the horsewalker rooves which of course have a hole in the middle so not ideal for lunging - true the horse would be fine but the lunger would get drenched!
