How do you stop from going dizzy? Ive lunged this morning and Katie is quite whizzy! lol Ive found myself getting dizzy so have to close my eyes to stop from falling over or being sick! Also if you give her an inch she will take a mile and when i opened my eyes she was stood in front of me!!
Any ideas? Please tell me im not alone in this??

try making a bigger circle ie walk around the school/field while you are lunging so she is going around you but making use of the whole area so you aren't just spinning in one spot.

Ill try that! trouble is we will end up going up hill and down dale as we only have one flat area! at the bottom of the hill! Ill try moving about more on friday and see how we get on! Cheers

Ditto the others :D

I like to walk up and down the school so that there is less time spent on a true circle, therefore less of a strain on the horse (see H and H last year I think it was for further reading :D ).

When I saw the title I wondered why someone was posting about lunging my horse - roflmao

i often concentrate on her movement/way of going so much i forget to walk! so get dizzy! but yup - look away from horse ocassionally and walk in a circle yourself
