I've always been taught, the less crap on a horse, the better. I always ride in a snaffle, and never use anything other than a martingale (call me old fashioned;)) I use my back and seat not my arms!

However, I want to purchase a lunging aid, to help improve topline, and lower a high head carriage.

I don't want it to pull on the mouth, I don't want it to encourage falling onto the forehand, and I want it to encourage stretching and engaging the backend!

So the lists of things I have considered
Pessoa (lots of people say it's unbalancing and pulls the mouth)
Lungie bungee (don't know much about these)
Equiami (people have said a better version of the pessoa, but not really in my price range)
Chambon (encourages horse onto the forehand, and not use the back end)
Kavalkade HO (liked the look of this, but again, don't know anyone who can reccomend)

Opinions/advice/anything?!!!

I use draw reins, i think its the same as the kavalkade?!! I found it very good for building topline and it really incurages them to lower the head/neck and work through from behind.
