One of the topics we're studying atm is Lunging.
Trying to piece together all the different lunging equipment/methods...
Any suggestions? & what are they good for?

So far i have:

Cavesson
Side reins
Draw reins
Passoa
Equiami

Cavesson - If you lunge just off the Cavesson it doesn't really have any benefit to the horse or alter the way it works. It is mainly used when teaching horses to lunge before they are broken in and for exercising horses.

Also, there is:
The Harbridge - which imitates the perfect pair of hands
De Gogue - Acts on the bit and the poll and causes the nose to be pulled in, helps the horse to work in a good shape on the flat. Can be helpful to teach a horse to lighten in front and become softer.
Chambon - designed to encourage the horse to carry his head long and low.
Market Harborough - teaches the horse to carry his head correctly, useful for a horse with a very high head carriage (pressure is applied when the horse raises it's head and released when the horse lowers it's head.)
