Morning all,

My neighbour, who is a vet nurse, fosters for the RSPCA. She currently has a beautiful 8 week old lurcher pup bitch who is looking for a home.

We are in the South Wales area.

That's very kind of you to think of me. There's a problem. My MIL has acquired a new collie pup. It's a raving lunatic. NOT the puppies fault. The MIL's. The puppy is desperate to work, and their garden, which is next to our yard, is looking like a travellers site, with old scrap being used to block the hedges in where the puppy continues to escape, to be with me. It's all very gratifying, but it's driving me around the bend.

There is no telling them, and as we would have our own dog with us when we're at the yard, then it's all going to end up in chaos, or the puppy (theirs) is going to be run over, on the road. I'm at my wits end!!

A new puppy, for T is on the back burner, until either the MIL's grows up (unlikely), or they re-home it, also unlikely, or the poor little sod ends up dead. They wont let me have it, because "darling angel" would have to live in a kennel :eek:. I don't want it, because it would never really be mine. Even though I bought the bloody thing!! I bet that it'll live until it's 20 :eek:.

I'm sorry for the rant, and for something of an unintended thread hijack!! If I had any hair left, it would be on the floor by now :D. I've washed my hands of the MIL's puppy. It's just so sad that it seems to be preventing us from finding a replacement for May.

"Could you find us a puppy?" they asked. Me and my big mouth. :)

Do I feel better, for that? No, not really, but again, thank you for thinking of me. :)

Little Maisie went off to her new home last night.

The lady who has taken her has another Lurcher - and the two got on famously when introduced. :D:D
