I hope you have had some replies. If nobody offers a solution you could try Lurcher Link. The dogs they rehome are placed in knowledgeable foster families until they can be found a permanent home which will have been checked previously.

I know of a first class girl who re-homes lurchers, and she's in Norfolk. She somehow manages to maintain a waiting list!
