if any one does please can you pm the details

well we dont want to buy just yet, want to leave it for a bit to let things settle down with the neighbors. its a long story.

or a grey hound will do, we love that sort of breed

it won't be a working home,
i thinnk ive asked this before, but is it the best idea to get a rescue dog, just because you don't know what its been through?

will post pics (in about a year) when we get him/her

Most breeders of lurchers looking for working homes for their pups, but good luck in your search. Its a shame you wont think about a rescue dog as there are loads in rescue unfortunately.

yh i no, its worth asking mum when i get home this afternoon, but she may not want a rescue. any idea how much they would roughly cost from rescue (if at all)?

Both of mine (in sig) are from Lurcher Link, they are lovely dogs. Not all rescues have issues and you can still get a puppy or young dog

And Greyhound Rescue West of England suggest a donation of between £90 and £130, they come with all the same done as for Lurcher Link dogs

thats good. cant have one atm anyway, but will deffo go there when we get one (either the end of the year or next year).
we deffo prefere young dogs

I believe Kaye who runs it is based in W. Yorks but they also have dogs all over the place as some are in foster care - Bes came from Scotland and Domino from Kent

I know a chap in Coalville who breeds Greyhound x
Deerhound Lurchers and I have one (8 months old) from his most recent litter. When I have worked out how to do it I will send you his details by PM. I would add that he is not a puppy breeder just someone who has the occasional litter. We're thrilled with the one we got from him.

ok thanks

They are an abused breed but I have 3 rescue lurchers and only one has 'issues' and you deal with them as they come up. I'd never get a dog from anywhere else.

I got a little one from a non specialist rescue and have to say she's a fab little dog, good as gold with my child, great house dog, and super in every way.
