Went to my local Scats countryside store today. Saw they have a whole range of Lynn Russell products - So bought some LR 'whitener' shampoo and some LR super strength stain remover....on a whim really....
I am not a big fan of her in particular, but thought I'd try these products. I have big problems getting the stains off Mickey's white bits....
Anyone else used anything from her range? Opinions/results?

Funny.. I bought some stuff for the first time today... I got the lorry freshener, which is great and smells lovely! Also some quick gloss coat shine spray, which smells much nicer than the canter stuff.. will see how shiny it makes the horse I'm competing tomorrow!

I really dislike Lynn Russel and when I saw her products for sale in my local tack shop I swore there and then I would never buy anything with her name on..........however on closer inspection they do look quite good, so if the products you bought turn out to be any good let me know and I may be persueded otherwise lol!

Yeah I am not a big fan of her either!! But I thought I'd give it a go - The stain remover was over £12 though so it better darn well work!!!!!!!!
Probably gonna try it out tomorrow or Saturday.....

Cool, I though the hoof oil and spray thing looked quite good and the whitening shampoo caught my eye too.
Do you have the brochure of all the products? All I can say is what a patronising b**** she is

. It was not cheap so it had better do the trick!

the spray on hoof oil really is the best thing since sliced bread!! don't need to bend down too far and it doesn't stain white legs - woo hoo!!

got my eye on that spray on hoof stuff too, wouldn't get anywhere near my horse with it tho!!!
The lorry stuff sounded good but whats wrong with a bit of flash!

Yup, clicked on it, looked at it, clicked off...... Thanks for that though!!!! I have no reason to dislike her (but I might do if her products don't work!)

im sorry..... but why not like lynn??, I think she is fantastic ...sorry but i do ...she produces top class horses, whne i first started showing over 18 yrs ago she was not that well known and has taken the showing world especially cobs into her own....good on you lynn!!!

remember reading that she said she used good old fairy liquid, she said that if it was good enough for her hands it was good enough for the horses.
why do some people not like her?
i always think her and her cobs look very smart and a good role model.

I used to live quite near her and she went into the local Scats and complained about having to queue up shouting loudly 'do you know who I am?' that put me off her a bit as she was also very rude to the poor girl that worked there

Also without it sounding like I have sour grapes she takes her horses to small unaffiliated little local shows

which I don't think is fair at all.

Let me know what the stain remover is like. I tried the shampoo but went back to good ole QuicSilver. It didnt remove the marks any better and was more expensive.

I remember many many years ago when I was showing I had to go to a big county show on my own as my groom went ill. Lynn saw me struggling and sent one of her grooms/hangers on over to help me. Then after the class she invited me to her lorry for a cuppa. Not had much to do with her since but always remember her for that.

people in the public eye have to be so careful.
glad i`m not famous!!!!
remember someone, years ago said pam ayres (the poet lady)was a right miserable b*t*h which is quite different from her homely humour.
saw charles, william and harry at polo match and they looked lovely chaps, when they look grumpy in papers sometimes.

I have always found Lynn to be very pleasant tho' I do know she wont stand for any nonsense. Whoa betide anyone who rides up her backside in the showring!!!

She has worked very hard to achieve where she's got; her horses go beautifully for her, with Lynn hardly moving a muscle and she certainly has an eye for a good cob. AND she doesn't come from a horsey background. She's hard on the outside, and she needs to be in this day and age, I'm afraid, but she also has a very kind heart and does a lot to raise money for charity.

she wouldn't have lasted 5 mins with me!! i work in a merchants and she who shall remain nameless (actress) tried that, i replied "yes, i know who you are and you will wait in the queue like everyone else until it is your turn to be served, and if you are rude to staff again you will be asked to leave" she was very, very embarrassed. i will not have people queue jumping becuase they think they are better than others, ALL customers are important regardless, i would rather keep the majority happy by upsetting the odd one
