Anyone heard or dealt with Lynwood Stud?

I've seen a youngster I really like the look of who has been bred by them. I'm 5 hours away so would be buying unseen if I do go ahead, which doesn't bother me as the horse hasn't been broken and I'm happy to do all the work etc..

Any good/bad/indifferent opinions on them?

A friend of mine worked for them a few years ago - not heard much which is usually a good thing and she wouldnt work for anyone dodgy. have just looked at the website.. some fab horses! just my type! :)

I purchased a horse from Lynwood Stud last month and they are one of the most professional equestrian businesses I have come across. Nothing was too much trouble.

You can tell that their business has been in their family for years and that they know what they are doing. They are very health and safety aware and plan everything. All of the horses I saw at the stud that they have bred have gorgeous heads, great conformation, paces and most of all have a good kind temperment. I saw my filly's dad and many of her half brothers and sisters as well as her full brother.

They are honest and will not sell you the horse if they do not think you can handle it, while I viewed my filly there was a novice trying to by a filly and they helped her make the sensible choice rather than flogging the young horse off just for a sale. Many of their horses have gone on to do great things. My little filly is absolutely perfect in every way and I cannot thank them enough for going the extra mile literally in delivering her for me (From Coventry all the way to Kent!), making the journey as hassle free as it can be and making sure she was looked after until she could be moved. No one at my yard can believe she is 1 year and 4 months, she is more grown up than a lot of 6 year olds!

I recommend all of my friends to Lynwood Stud and when I need my next horse I know who I will contact! Thank you Amy Pugh and Lesley Pugh.

If you have any questions feel free to message me, I know how important it is to get the right horse.

Katie
